Bargain Finds

Ok so while meeting with a client yesterday, I stumbled upon this gorgeous mirror that was being sold by a street vendor on North 6th Street and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the best part is that it only cost me $25! I just love a great find, I can't wait to use it for a party!!

Busy Bee

I know, I know, I have been neglecting the blog but I have a really really good excuse (ok maybe not an excuse but a good enough reason), I have been busy as a bee!!  It seems as though the winter has brought on some serious baby making because the summer time is jam packed full of baby showers. I'm currently working on two really cute themes, the famous "Mad Hatter" theme and a really adorable "Little Man" (bow ties and mustaches) theme. I can't wait to post up pictures of the finished work.

French Circus Themed Boy Baby Shower

I have been trying to do this theme for so long (ever since I first saw it done on Hostess with the Mostess) and when my lovely sister-in-law first learned she was pregnant and was having a boy, I along with my husband, insisted that she do this theme.  I was able to download and print the pictures that were in the frames from HWTM's site (Thanks guys you rock!).  I have to say that it came out fabulous, I couldn't be more happier with the end results.

Spring/Summer 2012

It's been a little crazy for us right now, we are currently planning a couple of events so we have been basically running around like a couple of chickens without our heads.  But anyway,  here is the latest Pantone 2012 Spring/Summer color trends (check them out below)

These colors will be perfect for weddings, baby showers or just a plain old party (who needs a reason to celebrate?)  Speaking of celebrations, when ever I think of baby's breaths, I typically think of the annoying stuff that are usually in cheap looking floral arrangements but Lo and behold I found a site that had a beautiful arrangement used in a wedding and gasp, the entire arrangement was made of baby's breaths!! Check out the photo I found on bellethemagazine.com of Georgina and Arturo's wedding. Two words, Simply Fabulous!! You can even recreate this for a baby shower (just use a different color vase).
